Consultant - Green Building Expert

Hiring a dynamic and experienced Green Building Certification Professional to lead and support certification projects across India and the Middle East. The role requires strong technical knowledge in sustainability frameworks, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Planning- Advise clients on the most appropriate green building rating system (LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL, etc.) based on project goals.- Set sustainability benchmarks and targets as per certification standards.- Identify relevant credits and points based on building type, location, and client expectations.2. Sustainable Design Integration- Embed sustainable features such as passive ventilation, daylight optimization, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and green materials into the design process.- Coordinate energy modeling, water balance studies, and daylight simulations with consultants.- Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure design compliance with green standards.3. Documentation & Submission- Lead preparation and submission of documents required by certification authorities.- Track credit status, performance data, and documentation progress effectively.- Ensure all submissions are timely, complete, and compliant.4. Certification Management- Act as the primary liaison with the certification body.- Oversee the review process and support the team through final certification.Skills & Qualifications- Professional accreditation in at least one green certification system (LEED AP, IGBC AP, GRIHA Certified, etc.) - mandatory- In-depth technical understanding of green building standards and sustainability.- Strong analytical and research capabilities.- Excellent written communication for proposal and report preparation.- Project management expertise including planning, tracking, and team collaboration.- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity.- Ability to contribute to business development, outreach, and client pitches.
