Job Description
Our MSP client in the managed IT services industry is seeking an IT Support Technician to support small business clients across Washington. This role provides 75% Tier 1 and 25% Tier 2 support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues both remotely and at client sites. The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field, has a strong foundation in Windows systems and hardware support, and communicates technical information clearly to non-technical users. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad hands-on experience in a growth-oriented MSP environment.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 (75%) technical support for hardware, software, and access issues
Provide Tier 2 (25%) technical support by troubleshooting issues and escalating as appropriate
Resolve Microsoft 365 account issues including email, login, and access problems
Support Windows desktop and laptop systems including configuration and maintenance
Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners for end users
Travel to client sites to complete installations, data transfers, and onsite issue resolution
Address basic connectivity issues with support from senior technicians as needed
Document and manage service tickets using the Autotask ticketing system
Perform basic hardware repairs and component troubleshooting for desktops and laptops
Support clients during outages and communicate issue status and resolution clearly
Deliver professional end-user support while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field is required
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 is required
Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components with basic repair skills is required
Driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle are required
Ability to travel 25% within the state of Washington is required
