Duties

  • Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to generate new life insurance leads
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance products that align with clients’ financial goals
  • Negotiate policy terms and premium rates with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual agreement
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining customer records, and following up on inquiries
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance product visibility and attract diverse clientele
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining policy benefits, and guiding clients through the sales process
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to protect client information

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly valued
  • Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for effective client management
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and benefits administration processes is a plus
