UT Health East Texas provides healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>The PCT Virtual Care provides continuous remote observation of patients identified as at risk for safety concerns. </li><li>Using two-way audio and video technology, monitors patient behavior and promptly intervenes by verbally redirecting the patient or notifying clinical staff when necessary. </li><li>This role supports patient safety, dignity, and privacy while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>Job Requirements:<br><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines and policies. </li><li>Professional demeanor and discretion when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors. </li><li>Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Effective verbal communication using microphones, headsets, and webcams. <br><br></li></ul>Preferred Job Requirements:<br><ul><li>Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting. </li><li>Experience in direct patient care or patient observation roles.</li></ul>
