If you love guiding people, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and are eager to innovate in a hybrid (studio + remote) setting, this opportunity was built for you.Core Responsibilities – What Your Day Will Look LikeProgram Design & Delivery• Develop and schedule virtual group‑fitness classes that align with our brand standards, ranging from beginner orientation sessions to the dynamic “Develop Your Own Program” (DYOP) series.• Lead live, high‑energy sessions via our proprietary streaming platform, ensuring clear instruction, proper form cues, and timely modifications for varying ability levels.• Collaborate with the regional fitness leadership team to refresh the class catalog quarterly, incorporating trending workout modalities (HIIT, functional strength, low‑impact cardio, etc.).Member Engagement & Support• Proactively reach out to members through virtual check‑ins, personalized emails, and in‑app messaging to discuss goals, answer questions, and provide customized workout recommendations.• Serve as a virtual “floor guide,” walking members through equipment safety, proper usage, and best practices during live classes and on‑demand video tutorials.• Foster the Judgement Free Zone® ethos by celebrating member milestones, offering constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive atmosphere that encourages all participants to feel comfortable sharing their progress.Operational Excellence• Perform daily virtual “walk‑throughs” of the digital fitness environment, testing video/audio quality, ensuring that all equipment links (e.g., heart‑rate monitors) function correctly, and troubleshooting any technical glitches.• Maintain rigorous sanitization standards for any equipment that members may be sent home with (e.g., resistance bands, yoga mats), including detailed cleaning logs and adherence to CDC guidelines.• Answer inbound phone calls and chat inquiries with a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor, routing complex issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary.Community Building & Promotion• Lead virtual “member tours” for prospective clients, showcasing the breadth of our online class offering, explaining membership benefits, and converting interest into active participation.• Coordinate with marketing to promote upcoming class series, seasonal challenges, and special events through social media posts, email newsletters, and in‑app push notifications.• Participate in company‑wide fitness competitions, webinars, and team‑building activities that reinforce camaraderie among remote trainers.Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring• Minimum 6–12 months of customer‑service experience in a fitness, wellness, or hospitality environment, demonstrating a history of genuine member interaction.• Age 18 + and ability to pass a comprehensive background check.• Current Nationally Certified Personal Trainer credential (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA) – certification renewal within the last three years preferred.• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Windows/macOS, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with video‑streaming tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or proprietary platforms).• Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification (training and certification fees covered by Planet Fitness).Preferred Qualifications – Desired Extras• Additional specialty certifications (e.g., group‑exercise, corrective exercise, HIIT, yoga, Pilates).• Experience designing and delivering virtual fitness content for a diverse audience.• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin) to broaden
