<p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Job Overview:</span></b></p><p>The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (SOC Lead) is pivotal in guiding Fortrea's Security Operations Center through expert forensic analysis, advanced threat detection, and rapid incident response. With a focus on using both proprietary and open-source forensic tools, this role is critical in identifying, investigating, and mitigating cybersecurity threats, ensuring the integrity and resilience of Fortrea's digital assets. The ideal candidate is technically adept, strategically minded, and possesses a profound understanding of cyber threat landscapes and forensic investigation techniques.</p><ul></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Summary of Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li>Lead sophisticated cyber forensic investigations, applying a mix of proprietary and opensource tools to gather, analyze, and preserve evidence.</li><li>Spearhead the SOC's threat detection and incident response efforts, utilizing forensic insights to bolster threat intelligence and response capabilities.</li><li>Work collaboratively with cybersecurity architecture and engineering teams to refine security incident management processes.</li><li>Contribute to the development of SOC, focusing on the integration of advanced forensic analysis into daily operations.</li><li>Assist in the identification and monitoring of operational metrics to evaluate SOC effectiveness, under the guidance of the SOC Director.</li><li>Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and forensic methodologies, ensuring Fortrea’s defenses remain robust and proactive.</li><li>And all other duties as needed or assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Qualifications (Minimum Required):</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CyberSecurity, or a related field.</li><li>Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.</li><li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in incident response, threat detection, threat intelligence, and monitoring technologies.</li><li>Solid understanding and application of the MITRE ATT and CK framework, leveraging its insights for real-time threat detection, analysis, and response within security operations.</li><li>Expertise in cyber forensic methodologies and tools, both proprietary and open-source (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Autopsy).</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of the cybersecurity threat landscape, including the ability to identify and analyze emerging threats.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor within a SOC setting, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.</li><li>Exceptional analytical skills, adept at conducting complex forensic investigations and providing actionable insights.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Experience (Minimum Required):</span></b></p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in CyberSecurity Operations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Physical Demands/Work Environment:</span></b></p><ul><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment that requires quick decisionmaking and effective problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><span>Learn more about our </span><a href="https://careers.fortrea.com/us/en/eeo-and-accommodations" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">EEO & Accommodations request here</a><span>.</span></p>
