Shopify Developer Needed – Exclusive Membership / Subscription Club
About the Project
We are a premium apparel brand looking for an experienced Shopify developer to build an exclusive monthly membership program for our customers.
This is not a standard subscription project. Because we manufacture apparel months in advance, we need a membership system that works around limited inventory and controlled enrollment.
We're looking for someone who has built similar Shopify subscription or membership systems and can recommend the best technical solution.
What We Need
Customers should be able to:
Sign up for our exclusive Button Down Club
Select their shirt size during signup
Receive one exclusive button-down every month in their selected size
Receive free shipping on all website orders while they remain an active member
Update their shirt size if needed
Pause or cancel their membership
The Challenge
Unlike print-on-demand products, our inventory is manufactured in advance.
Because of this, we need to limit how many memberships can be sold.
For example:
Set a maximum number of active memberships
Optionally cap memberships by shirt size (ex: Large sold out while Medium is still available)
Automatically close enrollment when capacity is reached
Create a waitlist once the club is full
Allow us to invite customers from the waitlist as spots become available
We're open to your recommendations on the best way to accomplish this.
