You will be part of a team developing supplier activities and you will be involved in securing aircraft deliveries on-time, with perfect quality. <b>We would prefer to have a candidate in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., or Charlotte, NC, but minimally, this person needs to be based near a major (midwest to eastern) airport hub such as: Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, D.C., NYC, or Philadelphia. </b><br/><br/><strong><b>Meet the team:</b></strong><br/><br/>The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and supplying to the overall competitiveness of the company. Our team members ensure on-time delivery and on-quality of equipment and systems, drawing on their expertise in Industrial, Operations & Quality Management, and strong relationship building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate supply chain issues.<br/><br/><strong><b>Your working environment:</b></strong><br/><br/>This position is mission-based and you will travel weekly to Airbus suppliers & their subtiers. The missions range from short-term (a few days conducting an assessment) to long-term (months spent solving complex supply chain or quality management issues). Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
