<p>Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a talented and driven Employment Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join our growing Employment Practices Group. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be admitted to practice in California and possess experience handling California employment law matters.</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team within a nationally recognized law firm of more than 250 attorneys nationwide. Our Employment Practices Group partners with employers across a broad range of industries, handling complex employment disputes, labor matters, workplace investigations, and high-exposure wage and hour litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation, advocacy, and client-management skills, with experience independently managing sophisticated employment matters through all phases of litigation.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Independently manage all phases of employment litigation from inception through resolution</li>
<li>Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related filings</li>
<li>Conduct and defend depositions and participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and other dispute resolution proceedings</li>
<li>Attend and advocate at court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and trials</li>
<li>Handle matters involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, PAGA claims, and other employment-related matters</li>
<li>Represent employers in investigations and proceedings before federal, state, and local agencies</li>
<li>Advise and counsel employers on workplace issues, employment law compliance, personnel matters, and risk management strategies</li>
<li>Manage discovery, motion practice, investigations, and case deadlines in both state and federal courts</li>
<li>Communicate directly with clients, provide strategic guidance, and maintain strong client relationships</li>
<li>Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups to develop litigation strategies and achieve favorable outcomes</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Active admission to the California Bar in good standing required</li>
<li>Minimum of 4 years of employment litigation experience</li>
<li>Experience handling California employment litigation matters in state and federal courts</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and managing complex litigation matters</li>
<li>Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to independently manage an active caseload and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration with clients and colleagues</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination litigation</li>
<li>Wage and hour litigation, including collective actions, class actions, and PAGA matters</li>
<li>Traditional labor law matters and labor-management relations</li>
<li>Investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and state and local human rights agencies</li>
<li>Experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board in matters involving union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, representation proceedings, and labor arbitrations</li>

<h3>Base Salary Range: $135,000 – $200,000</h3>
